Register for the National MS Society Event on April 29!

Resilience: Addressing the Challenges of MS

It’s not too late to join the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society in Rapid City this weekend!

The National MS Society invites those living with or caring for somebody with MS to The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center to learn about resilience for the MS society.

Resilience: Addressing the Challenges of MS
Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
803 Soo San Dr.
Rapid City, SD 57702

People with MS may find that the physical, psychological, and spiritual challenges of living with the disease can be overwhelming, and hard to face day after day. However, many people living with chronic diseases, including MS, have learned that practicing behaviors that promote resilience is the secret to not just coping with the disease, but thriving with it. Resilience helps create a mindset of growth and opportunities, of seeing obstacles as challenges rather than threats. Some people have a natural tendency to be resilient, but if that’s not the case for you, strategies to build resilience can be learned and practiced.

Join Kari Scovel and participate in this interactive program to develop tools and learn about resources to help maximize your own resilience. There is no fee to attend this program, but registration is required by Wednesday, April 26. Space is limited so register today!
